About This Class

Interested in competitive shooting but don’t know how to start? Learn, practice and develop the skills you need to compete in a practical shooting match at the OGC! Participants will be given multiple opportunities to run through USPSA style qualifier stages with the guidance of our experienced staff. HOSTED AT OUR OCOEE FACILITY ONLY.

NOTE – The OGC Intro To Competitive shooting is a prerequisite to this  class. (YOU MUST TAKE OUR INTRO TO COMPETITIVE SHOOTING OR HAVE DOCUMENTED MATCH EXPERIENCE BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE THIS CLASS)

What do I need to take the Introduction To Competitive Shooting Class?

  • Relevant Shooting Experience (OGC Handgun Level 6 or Comparable Experience)
  • Minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition
  • Handgun of choice (9mm or greater)
  • Strong side outside the waistband holster
  • 4 magazine pouches
  • 4 spare magazines

The following holsters are PROHIBITED:

  • Leather holster (NOT ALLOWED)
  • Cross draw holster (NOT ALLOWED)
  • Shoulder holster (NOT ALLOWED)
  • Drop leg holster (NOT ALLOWED)
  • SERPA holtser (NOT ALLOWED)
